Cover Reveal: Sworn To Raise by Terah Edun + Giveaway!

Synopsis:
Seventeen-year-old Ciardis has grown up in poverty, a cleaner in a small vale on the outskirts of the  kingdom. But beneath her kingdom’s seemingly idyllic surface lies a hidden secret. Whispers of an inept crown Prince are growing ever louder—intensified by the five year anniversary of the soulbond  initiations.

Amidst scandalous whispers, Ciardis finds herself chosen to train for the Companion’s Guild. She leaves her home and sets off on a personal journey to become a Court Companion. A position she’d never thought possible for a lowly servant to obtain, she must prove that she has the skills to attract a Patron.

But she must master those skills quickly. If the legends are true, only Ciardis can harness the power to raise a Prince in an Imperial Court sworn to bring him down.
This sensational series debut melds intricate storylines with remarkable characters and unforgettable magic. Sworn To Raise is ideal for fans of Kristin Cashore, Michelle Sagara, and Maria Snyder.

Feature And Follow Friday #15

Gain New Blog Followers

Feature & Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by
Alison Can Read and Parajunkee where they choose a featured blogger every week along with a question for everybody to answer! It's an awesome way to meet new book bloggers and share the follower love :)

***

Q: What have you learned from book blogging that you didn't know before about the publishing industry?
Ahem, well I actually didn't know anything. It was only that I'd go to the bookstore, get the book and read it. It's all kind of new to me with all the ARCs, galleys and the marketing of books - especially through the interent. I didn't even notice the difference between self-published books and published books. So alot of my knowledge - well almost all of my knowledge about the publishing industry comes from blogging and I'm looking forward to knowing even more stuff ;)

But what about you? Leave me a comment down below or a link to your own post which I'll be sure to check out :D

Waiting on Wednesday #12

Waiting on Wednesday is an awesome weekly meme hosted by
Jill from Breaking the Spine.

***
So this week, I'm eagerly anticipating......

nbnnnn
"I dare you..."

If anyone knew the truth about Beth Risk's home life, they'd send her mother to jail and seventeen-year-old Beth who knows where. So she protects her mom at all costs. Until the day her uncle swoops in and forces Beth to choose between her mom's freedom and her own happiness. That's how Beth finds herself living with an aunt who doesn't want her and going to a school that doesn't understand her. At all. Except for the one guy who shouldn't get her, but does....

Ryan Stone is the town golden boy, a popular baseball star jock-with secrets he can't tell anyone. Not even the friends he shares everything with, including the constant dares to do crazy things. The craziest? Asking out the Skater girl who couldn't be less interested in him.

But what begins as a dare becomes an intense attraction neither Ryan nor Beth expected. Suddenly, the boy with the flawless image risks his dreams-and his life-for the girl he loves, and the girl who won't let anyone get too close is daring herself to want it all....

Uhhhh! Imagine my shock when I knew that the cover was out! Katie McGarry
became a favourite author of mine after reading Pushing the Limits which was just UTTERLY AMAZING! And what even made me sure that I'm gonna love this book - other than the fact that it was written by Katie McGarry - was the sneak peek of this book at the end Pushing The Limits. I just litterly CANNOT wait to get my hands on this book ;) And let me just say - the cover is SO CUTE!

But what about you? What books are you most anticipating this week? Leave me a comment down below or a link to your post which I'll be sure to check out ;)
