Waiting on Wednesday #7: Requiem ( Delirium #3 )

Waiting on Wednesday is an awesome weekly meme hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine.

Requiem ( Delirium #3 ) by Lauren Oliver
Genre: YA, Dystopian Future
Release Date: 5th March 2013

Now an active member of the resistance, Lena has been transformed. The nascent rebellion that was under way in Pandemonium has ignited into an all-out revolution in Requiem, and Lena is at the center of the fight. Of Pandemonium, ALA Booklist noted that “like all successful second volumes, this expands the world and ups the stakes, setting us up for the big finale.”

After rescuing Julian from a death sentence, Lena and her friends fled to the Wilds. But the Wilds are no longer a safe haven—pockets of rebellion have opened throughout the country, and the government cannot deny the existence of Invalids. Regulators now infiltrate the borderlands to stamp out the rebels, and as Lena navigates the increasingly dangerous terrain, her best friend, Hana, lives a safe, loveless life in Portland as the fianc√©e of the young mayor. Requiem is told from both Lena’s and Hana’s points of view. The two girls live side by side in a world that divides them until, at last, their stories converge.

I know crazy, right!!! I cannot believe it too! I can't even tell how excited I am ;)  Reading the synopsis just killed me guys, this book is actually going to be from Lena's & Hana's POV and just overall, as a HUGE Delirium fan. I CAN'T WAIT! Honestly though, I think the cover of Pandemonium was a bit more catchy, I guess, but I still like this one too :)

Also, Lauren Oliver posted two days ago a Requiem ARC Giveaway Contest on her blog. Yes, I'm not kidding, you can check for yourself. With only 3 copies in the world of Reqiuem, Lauren Oliver is going to give one away. I just thought I should tell you about it ;)

So what books are you drooling over this week? Leave me a comment down below or a link to your own post which I'll be sure to check out. I love hearing from you guys! :)

Happy Reading!
