Feature & Follow Friday #17

Feature & Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by
Alison Can Read and Parajunkee where they choose a featured blogger every week along with a question for everybody to answer! It's an awesome way to meet new book bloggers and share the follower love :)
***
Q: Tell us about the most emotional scene you've ever read in a book - and how did you react?
Answering this shouldn't be hard because it's not the usual for me to cry while reading a book but right now I could only remember crying while reading The Fault in Our Stars by John Green but I have never written a review about it which I don't know why. Another book was Broken by AE Rought. It was brilliant and frikkin' cute and it made me cry.

Also, Katie McGarry's books is another story, from reading her two books Pushing the Limits and Dare You To, I was being put through a fully charged emotional roller coaster and it was as if I was in the books, heart, mind and everything. The two books just enveloped me - sort of.
And last but not least is Hopeless by Collen Hoover which I finished reading a couple of days ago and I will review it soon but it was incredibly heart-breaking, I literally kept thinking about the book for the following two days straight.

That was my answer! What about you? Leave me a comment telling me or a link to your own post which I'll be sure to check out :D Also, I follow back ;)

Happy Friday!
xoxo, Mariam

I don't always see this as crying when reading, emotional can mean a lot of things. I get excited with reads, I get really mad or feel betrayed when a character does something rotten. And yeah, there are the occasional moments when I might almost cry, or at least be sad! :)

Here's my Follow Friday

Have a GREAT weekend!

I couldn't read The Fault in Our Stars because my best friend spoiled the end for me & I didn't want to cry when I got there (because I so would have). Katy McGarry's books are heart-wrenching, so I totally feel you there. New GFC Follower :)

Hopping through. I didn't cry over TFIOS but it was a very powerful book at many different places.

I'm actually reading TFioS right now - though I'm only on, like, chapter four so it's not been extremely emotional or anything just yet... I'm almost scared to go on because everyone says it's so sad. :(

Thanks for sharing these emotional books!

I'm already following! :)

John Green books always get me too. Though, I haven't read the others -- but now I'll have to put them on my TBR list.

NOTE: I haven't been commenting on other blogs lately because my laptop's charger is broke so until I get a new one I am using another computer but I guess there is something wrong with it because I can't leave comments on other blogs at all so sorry about that but I'll try and fix that asap. Thank you!
